I had a great experience from Ger and his team. Despite COVID-19 presenting some delays to both of us, the works were completed within a few days from start to finish. There was almost no mess or disruption to my living room or hall (something I was concerned about as recently renovated); the team were clean, efficient and polite throughout. Thoroughly recommend and we have had many many glorious fires since the install. Ger really knows his stuff and is not pushy in any way, just a genuine, skilled tradesman. Thank you.
This is the second Stove we have had supplied and installed by Ger. He and his team provided an excellent service. They take a lot of care to minimize mess, have bags of experience and know exactly what they are doing. Right from the outset from providing options and advice on fire types, models and materials to final install and test. Trustworthy, courteous and considerate of your home. High quality kit used and top workmanship throughout. I would definitely recommend them.

Ger gave me lots of advice beforehand about the range of stoves on offer in order to help me make the best choice. They had to take out a broken gas fire and rebuild the fireplace opening and replace the original mantlepiece. They did this really efficiently and with very little disruption having made great effort to protect the furnishings and wooden floors. The new stove looks great and I am really happy with the work and professional attitude. I am very happy to recommend Murfix.

Ger and colleague were excellent. There is no hesitation in recommending him. Our log burning stove was installed professionally and efficiently with clear and detailed instructions for use. Using Murfix was the best decision we made, if you use him you will not regret it.
Couldn’t have asked for better service. Ger came on time to quote for the job and we managed to keep it within my budget. They came as stated on the day and made sure my carpets and furniture were protected. Fantastic installation, brick work and plastering done. Can’t praise them enough. Ger came a few days later to give me full instructions and demonstration on how to use the Stove. My sister has also used him twice for both her Stoves. Would definitely recommend Murfix.
Already had a stove installed by Ger in 2018. Very pleased with the stove and the workmanship. Recently had my chimney swept by him ….again gave excellent service would definitely recommend.
